Self-directed learning readiness, internet self-efficacy and preferences toward constructivist internet-based learning environments amongst adult learners in Penang
Usagestatistics can be used from next month.
This study attempts to relate adult learners' self-directed learning readiness and Internet self-efficacy with the approaches, attitudes and efforts to accomplish the task in an environment that capitalises their own experiences, self-reflection and critical judgement. Computer usage and self-directed learning processes in computer assisted learning environments among students have been found to enhance their Internet-self efficacy. Secondly, the study intends to link Internet self-efficacy with preferences for Constructivist Internet-based Learning Environments (CILE). Studies found that CILE placed high relevance to life and reflective thinking.
