Description
This is a 5-credit middle-level course emphasises on both theories and applications. Student will find that case studies play an important part in this course. Unit 1 provides basic concepts of entreprenurship, the functions of entrepreneurs and qualities of successful entrepreneurs. Unit 2 focuses on the basic understanding in preparing to start a new business and Unit 3 explores the contemporary managerial issues that entrepreneurs face as they create and establish new ventures. Unit 4 provides the information needed to begin the business planning process while Unit 5 is build upon the framework by developing a business model.
