The primary aim of this research study was to investigate and understand the phenomenon of student isolation that negatively affects student's learning experiences in distance education programmes in Wawasan Open University. The Post-Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) programme will be the focus of this study considering the shorter period of study completion (3 semesters).
