This course guide present issues relating to the philosophy and theory of literature, notions of literary language, critical theories and teaching literature, material selection and adaption for teaching literature, and
assessment in the literature classroom. Unit 1 consist philosophy and theory of literature. Unit 2 consists notions about literary language. Unit 3 consists critical theories and teaching literature. Unit 4 consist material selection and adaptation for teaching literature in the Malaysian classroom. The last Unit consists assessment in the Malaysian literature classroom.
