Description
This course guide will focus on a survey of British literature, which will be discussed chronologically from the earliest forms of English literature to our contemporary period. Unit 2, the focus is on American literature and its distinctive literary periods and styles. Unit 3 will help you to understand some of the main features of British and American literature, by attempting to synthesise major developments in both regions. Unit 4, we will read, understand and analyse selected readings from some of the earliest periods of British literature to our contemporary period. The last Unit will look into selected readings from American Literature.
