This course guide introduces you to the notion of grammar and the teaching of grammar. Unit 2 focuses on some grammatical and content words categories in English. Unit 3 deals with verbs and the tenses found in the English language. Unit 4 is designed to acquaint learners with sentence constituents, word order in sentences and complex sentences. The last Unit covers pedagogical considerations an instructor would have to look into in the teaching of grammar.
