Description
This course guide introduces the nature and context of logistics management. Unit 2 focuses on how logistics facilitate customer service and the role of logistics information system. Unit 3 deals with inbound logistics (material management) or the movement of materials into the organisation. Unit 4 is about outbound logistics (physical distribution) of finished goods for which organisation has no plans for further processing. The last unit covers organisation's strategies for logistics.
