Description
This course guide introduce the data warehouse and its architecture as well as to the relevant analytical tools and method. Unit 1 introduction to data warehousing and database concepts provides an overview of core subject matter of this course and the dwells into some foundation database concepts. Unit 2 is on dimensional modelling and data staging. Unit 3 focuses on how business users could interact with the data warehouse. Unit 4 on data warehousing planning and management take a look at strategies and considerations required. The last Unit is data warehouse, CRM and knowledge management explores how data warehouse is used to support CM and KM application.
