Computer usage and self-directed learning processes in computer assisted learning environments among students have been found to enhance their Internet-self efficacy. Secondly, the study intends to link Internet self-efficacy with preferences for Constructivist Internet-based Learning Environments (CILE). Studies found that CILE placed high relevance to life and reflective thinking.
