The ability to invent and innovate, that is to create new knowledge and new ideas that are then embodied in products, processes and organizations, have always served to fuel development. However what is new is today&#039;s environment where intellect coupled with creative, innovative and inventive ideas have been recognized and leveraged to become a primary source of advantage and wealth.</swrc:abstract>
