In most CMS systems, website functionalities are embodied as modules separated from the core system and not installed when the need arises. The National Institute of Informatics (NII) in Japan has developed an AJAX-oriented CMS called NetCommons (NC) which is being used by educators. NCC developed a repository module for NetCommons.
