	<swrc:abstract xml:lang="en">This course guided is designed for learners who are taking the Master&#039;s degree programme. Briefly, this course introduces you to the evolution, historical and cultural perspectives of curriculum, trends and issues, curriculum planning, goals and learning outcomes as well as roles of stakeholders in the planning. Learners will be introduced to theories, models, designs, structure and assessments of curriculum including the underlying philosophies which are emphasised. This course also covers standards and benchmarks for quality assurance, the relationship of curriculum maintenance and research. Attention is also given to curriculum implementation, priorities and relevance to the workplace and the role of curriculum in the development of society.</swrc:abstract>
