	<swrc:abstract xml:lang="en">This course guide focuses on the co-curriculum programmes that are implemented in Malaysian schools. Unit 1 introduces to the concept of co-curriculum and the types of co-curricular activities as well as the theories of intellectual development and multiple intelligences in relation to co-curricular activities. Unit 3 examines the types of clubs/societies and the procedures to implement, manage, organise, and evaluate the activities in clubs/societies. Unit 4 explores the types of uniformed groups, and their activities and procedures. The last Unit looks at motivation in the co-curriculum programme and discusses the various aspects of personal development through participation in co-curricular activities.</swrc:abstract>
